BAI operator of museum shops and pop-up stores



In 2011 BAI opened the MASshop, the museum shop for the new MAS museum in Antwerp. The outlet has expanded from a museum shop to become the concept store in Antwerp where, alongside exclusive gifts and beautiful art books, you can find Antwerp’s most distinctive souvenirs.

In 2014 BAI became the exclusive partner of the Flandersshop, the Flanders tourist information centre in the heart of Brussels. This spacious concept store is where to discover stylish items that exemplify Flemish creativity: ranging from contemporary design and art books about the Flemish masters to ‘Flandrien’ cycling accessories. 

In 2016 BAI took the Antwerp Fly Shop at Deurne airport under its wing. This was followed one year later by a second shop on the air side of the airport. At both outlets travellers can not only enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of Koninck beer, but also shop for quintessential souvenirs of Antwerp, such as a bottle of the Elixir d’Anvers liqueur or an original t-shirt from Antwerp.

Since 2018 BAI has also been the concession holder of the AfricaShop, the brand new museum shop at the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren. This is where you’ll find a varied selection of (art) books, novels, jewellery and decorative gift items from the continent of Africa. Striking souvenirs that are also a happy memory of your visit to the museum.  

Alongside these permanent shops, BAI also opens pop-up stores for temporary events. In recent years, for example, BAI has been involved in setting up pop-ups for Europalia in Brussels, for Lille 2004, for Antwerp Baroque 2018 (Bar Baroque) and for the Royal Palace in Brussels and the Royal Greenhouses in Laken.
